Katharina's professional experience includes Marketing Director of a radio station (REWE), she was responsible for the integration of various call centers (Jordan Industries) and also for the total construction of a call center (Embers GmbH) which focused on home office. In 2006, Katharina Schneider became CEO of the MediaShop Group. She studied at the University of Vienna and holds an MBA.

Dr. Julian Oberndörfer, CEO, ERA Europe

Dr. Julian Oberndörfer

Dr. Oberndörfer has represented the Home-shopping Industry in Europe and the Middle East as CEO, ERA Europe since 2013. Prior to ERA Europe, he worked at the German live shopping channel Home Shopping Europe (HSE24), where he held the positions Head of Country Management Austria & Switzerland and Vice-President Media Law, Media Politics and Distribution (MMD), in charge of the multi-channel distribution of Home Shopping Europe’s TV channels. Prior to working in the Home-shopping Industry, he practiced at a Munich law firm and worked for the Deutsche Bank HQ.

Dr. Oberndörfer has also presided as Chairman of the Working Committee for Independent Special Interest and Teleshopping Channels within the German TV Association "VPRT". At ERA Europe, prior to 2013, he was Chairman of the Government Affairs Committee and then Chairman of ERA Europe’s Board of Directors. He is a member of the Advisory Committee of the European Audiovisual Observatory - Council of Europe and of the multi-channel working committee of the Bavarian chamber of commerce.
Dr. Oberndörfer is the owner of a law firm in the south of Munich, specialising in Media and Telecommunication Law.

Under Ingram’s direction ionoco has recently launched a live Augmented Reality platform and PLAY@HOME (PATH). Path allows producers and broadcasters to connect audiences to any broadcast event for gaming, voting and opinion polling with key participants connected to studio with video and audio live as required.

Emerald de Leeuw LL.B LL.M MSc CIPP/E is founder and CEO of EuroComply. Emerald is a globally recognized data protection and privacy expert and a lecturer at the Law Society of Ireland. In 2016 she was awarded the European Young Innovator of the Year award for her company EuroComply which specialises in risk management software & consultancy to help companies demonstrate compliance with the GDPR. As the Senior Adviser for International Trade and Data Economy at the European eCommerce & Omni-Channel Trade Association (EMOTA), Oliver advises EMOTA’s membership on a wide range of issues: from product safety to data protection. Guillermo Encina, Head of R&D and co-founder at

José is a mathematician and expert in Dynamic Systems, with a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Master in Information Technologies.

Previously he was Global Director of Big Data Analytics at Accenture, where he defined the advanced analytics strategy, supervised commercial processes in Europe, US, Latam and Asia, defined and supervised the training program in Data Science as well as defining and supervising R&D projects in machine learning with MIT.

Before that he was CEO and Founder at Neo Metrics (which was acquired by Accenture in 2012). At Neometrics he created and managed an advanced machine learning consultancy with operations in Spain, Latam and the US. (Partnership development with key clients: Vodafone, Bank of America, Movistar). Prior to that he was Advanced Analytics Director at SAS Institute where he was responsible for the creation of the Product Vision & Roadmap(s); engaging customers/prospects for market requirements and prioritization, developing product positioning and messaging that differentiates SAS products in the market and contributing business and domain expertise for pricing, positioning and sales collateral strategies.

Jeroen Doucet - Chief Strategy Officer at Ex Machina Group

Jeroen Doucet is Chief Strategy Officer of Ex Machina Group and leads their professional services unit. Ex Machina develops and builds interactive video formats, for television, live streaming, social media or app based. Over the years, Jeroen has become an authority on blending digital media and television. He is a frequently asked speaker inspiring the audience on the opportunities of combining the reach and impact of television, with the power of individual interactivity. Jeroen not only tells you what can be done, but also shows how it has been done successfully.

Since 2014 he has been responsible for Digital Transformation Program with the Entertainment Master Class, the not-for-profit executive educational foundation for the entertainment industry.

During this time, Jonas successfully deployed a number of key projects which helped propel his career within the FMCG industry: he launched a unique & differentiating partnership to support the launch of a new product range for Becel/Flora pro-active, he redefined the strategy and marketing plan of the oldest margarine brand in the Unilever portfolio (Solo) which resulted in a spectacular increase in market penetration, and within Coca-Cola, his strategic and entrepreneurial skills helped him to grow the business to record-level results.

Jonas De Cooman holds an Executive MBA from The University of Chicago, Booth School of Business
and a Post-Grad Master in General Management from the Vlerick Management School (Business School). He also has a Bachelor in Engineering and a Masters in Engineering (Biotechnology) both from the Catholic University Leuven (KUL).

Jonas is also an annual Guest Lecturer in Marketing Management at University of Antwerp. He speaks 4 languages: Dutch (native), French, English and German

Ben subsequently helped IHS acquire and integrate another five research and analysis firms (IMS Research, Displaybank, DisplaySearch, Infonetics, and Rootmetrics).

Peter Matzneller, LL.M. Eur.

Peter Matzneller

Peter Matzneller graduated in law at the Leopold-Franzens University in Innsbruck, Austria, in 2007. After completing his practical education at the Higher Regional Court of Innsbruck (Oberlandesgericht Innsbruck) and the Regional Government of Tyrol (Tiroler Landesregierung), in 2009 he obtained a postgraduate Masters diploma from the Europa-Institute at the University of Saarland, Saarbrücken (LL.M. Eur.), with specializations in European Media Law and European Competition Law.

From 2013 to 2015 he was General Manager of the Institute of European Media Law (EMR), an independent research and consulting association based in Saarbrücken and Brussels, where he started as a scientific researcher in 2010.

Since 2015, he is Consultant Legal and European Affairs at the Joint Management Office of the German supervisory bodies for commercial television in Berlin. The Joint Management Office coordinates and organizes the work of the different committees of the 14 State Media Authorities in Germany. Peter Matzneller is responsible for elaborating common positions and for representing them in front of the organs of the European Union and in the relevant European associations.

His fields of activity – besides the law on audiovisual media services – in particular are the European advertising and competition law. Furthermore, he is dealing with questions related to media and services providers on the Internet.

Francisco is Analyst in the Department for Legal Information of the European Audiovisual Observatory and Deputy Editor of IRIS – Legal Observations of the European Audiovisual Observatory. He began his legal training at the University of Castilla-la Mancha (Ciudad Real, Spain) and went on to obtain a further qualification (LL.M. in German Law) at the Institute for European Law of the University of Saarland (Saarbrücken, Germany), where he specialised notably in EU Law and Intellectual Property Law.

The European Audiovisual Observatory is part of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, France. It is a public service organisation.

The Observatory was created in 1992 in order to collect and distribute information about the audiovisual industries in Europe. By making this information available, the Observatory aims at promoting greater transparency and a clearer understanding of the ways in which the audiovisual industries in Europe function, both from an economic and legal point of view.

The Observatory provides information on the various audiovisual markets in Europe and their financing. It also analyses and reports on the legal issues affecting the different sectors of the audiovisual industry.

Mark D. Cole is Director for Academic Affairs at the Institute for European Media Law (Saarbrücken/Brussels) and Professor for Media and Telecommunication Law at the University of Luxembourg, where he is also Course Director for the Master in General European Law LL.M. programme. Beetween 2007 and 2014, he was Associate Professor of Law (Law of the New Information Technologies, Media and Communications Law) at the same university.

In addition, he is a Faculty Member of the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT) of the University of Luxembourg. Other appointments include: Co-Director of the Institute for Legal Informatics at the Universität des Saarlandes, Lecturer for "European Media Law" in the LL.M. programme on Media Law at the Mainzer Medieninstitut/Johannes Gutenberg Universität Mainz, Lecturer for "Media Competition Law" - Case Studies in the LL.M. programme on "European and International Law" at the Europainstitut, Saarbrücken.

Prior to MediaShop Ina Bauer worked as the Sales Director of Markiza Group, the leading TV network in the Slovak Republic as well as ATV, Austria’s leading commercial TV channel, where she held several management positions for 13 years, the latest being director of Sales, Marketing & New Media.
Ina Bauer started her career as a journalist in California, where she lived for seven years. She holds a master’s degree of the University of Vienna.
