Jeroen Doucet

Jeroen Doucet is Chief Strategy Officer of Ex Machina Group and leads its professional services. Ex Machina develops interactive video apps for television, on social media platforms and stand-alone. Ex Machina’s portfolio includes The Voice, America’s Got Talent and What Do I Know for television; Amazon Prime Day and EA Fifa 2019 on Twitch; sports predictions Winview and video trivia quiz Q12 as stand alone. Over the years Ex Machina has evolved as a full service provider, from strategy to implementation on its robust proprietary platforms.

Prior to Ex Machina, Jeroen went back and forth between television and digital media. In 2001 he started as an executive director at Dutch public broadcaster BNNVARA. Next he set up and ran NPO’s partnership program which included a.o. collaborations with RTL Group, BBC Worldwide, and Microsoft. In 2007 he founded Station10, a Dutch media consulting boutique.

Over the years, Jeroen has become an authority on blending digital media and television. He is a frequently asked speaker inspiring the audience on the opportunities of combining the reach and impact of television, with the power of individual interactivity. Jeroen not only tells you what can be done, but also shows how it has been done successfully.

Since 2014 he has been responsible for Digital Transformation Program with the Entertainment Master Class, the not-for-profit executive educational foundation for the entertainment industry.

Jason Kong

Kong Jiong (Jason Kong, born in Shandong province, China), who is a master, senior editor, senior economist, and EMBA of Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business. He is one of the “Four Groups” talents of the Propaganda Department, member of the National Youth League, one of the national advanced workers, advanced individual of the national public service advertisement, one of the national top 100 theoretical workers. He is also a media professional, author of “Profit Model of Media”, which is first considered the key to the success of media business. He is the former vice president of Guizhou TV, former president of Jia You Home Shopping Group and managing director of Chinese Media Capital (CMC). Now he is the president of EFIM investment CO., LTD., the president of Global Home Shopping (GHS) CO., LTD., the president of ReadTV Infinite Technology CO., LTD., and the president of Citruss TV FZ LLC. He also serves as the director of China Home Shopping Alliance and vice president of China Electronics Chamber of Commerce.

Branimir Brkljac

Branimir Brkljac is a direct marketing veteran with rich international experience. In 1993, Branimir became partner in Studio Moderna. Over the next 20 years under the brand Top Shop, Studio Moderna became the leading direct-to-consumer sales company in Central and Eastern Europe, with branches in twenty countries of the region and over seven thousand employees. He was in charge of development and marketing strategy.

In 2012, he sold his shares in Studio Moderna and launched project 'Mokrin House' turning an abandoned farmstead in the remote village of Mokrin in northern Serbia into a modern co-working and co-living space for freelancers and digital nomads from around the world. In 2018, 'Inc Magazine', the American business news magazine, ranked Mokrin House among the six must-visit co-living places in the world and in 2019, Forbes Magazine published it as one of the top 5 co-living spaces on the planet.

Branimir regularly takes part in conferences and seminars around the world, focused on current business topics. He shares his knowledge and experience regarding current media and marketing trends and the transformation of modern communication channels by writing expert papers and participating as a speaker and panelist at conferences and business meetings in the region.

Sukhdip Mann

Sukhdip Mann started at Statista during her studies in Physics in 2016. In the last 2.5 years, she established the market for Statista's newest tool ecommerceDB from scratch and is now responsible for the Business Development Team Central Europe and Asia. Due to her analytical background, her key responsibilities include Market Analysis and Product Development as well as Strategic Partnerships and Sales.

Before joining Statista, Sukhdip worked as a Research Analyst at Xelios Consult in Frankfurt, Germany and before that, as a Management Intern at India’s leading wholesale company KRBL Ltd in New Delhi.

Darko Dujic

Darko Dujic, CEO of Ceneje d.o.o. And board member of Heureka Group. Heureka Shopping is the largest regional platform for online and comparison shopping, present in nine C. and E. European countries. On the Heureka's comparison shopping platforms there are over 55,000 web shops advertising and each day more than 2 million buyers' visits in several thousand categories. In his career, he held important managerial positions in some of the top companies in the industry: Google, Mercator, GfK and Interbrew.

He is the co-founder of several successful companies and investor in one of the most interesting, fast growing fintech and ecommerce startups in the region, Leanpay. He obtained his Master's degree in the field of Strategic Marketing Management at IMB, Ljubljana and was invited to the Google Business Academy at Duke CE, USA, one of the most prominent business academies of the last decade, where he continued his professional studies. He is currently finishing his PhD in the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence at international postgraduate Jožef Stefan Institute.

Maria Rua Aguete

Maria Rua Aguete is Executive Director TMT at IHS Markit | Technology, where she was a media analyst for the global television industry and business and financial data analysis, modelling and forecasting, strategic market consulting and due diligence work, covering Europe and South America. She is involved in consultancy projects for high profile media and technology companies. She holds a Bachelor in Business Administration and Economics from the Universidad de Vigo and an MBA in Economics and Finance from Cardiff University.

Tom Bowers

Tom Bowers is a social TV and viewer engagement specialist and thought leader, having set up his consultancy Connect Four Productions which pioneered with innovation around social TV. Tom has worked with leading media companies and broadcasters including ITV, Channel 4, BT Sport, 4Music, MTV, RTE, Canal+, and TF1 to conceptualise innovative social TV experiences and strategies. He is a leading thinker around social TV, audience and fan engagement, and the role social media plays in driving new sponsorship opportunities. Tom has innovated with shows like The Brit Awards to implement the first global managed service social vote as well as championing the introduction of a swathe of new socially reactive TV ads in the UK.

Emanuele Frontoni

Emanuele Frontoni received his doctoral degree in electronic engineering from the University of Ancona, Italy, in 2003. The same year he joined the Dept. of Ingegneria Informatica, Gestionale e dell’Automazione (DIIGA) at the Università Politecnica delle Marche, as a Ph.D. student in "Intelligent Artificial Systems". He obtained his PhD in 2006 discussing a thesis on Vision Based Robotics. At present he has a Post Doc position in the same department (currently named Department of Information Engineering – DII).

Emanuele's research focuses on applying computer science, artificial intelligence and computer vision techniques to mobile robots and innovative IT applications. He is a member of IEEE and AI*IA, the Italian Association for Artificial Intelligence. He has several international co-operations with SMEs and companies on innovation and future trends. He has also published more than 120 papers and was a speaker at more than 40 international conferences.

Dr. Julian Oberndörfer

Julian has represented the Home-shopping Industry in Europe and the Middle East as CEO ERA Europe since 2013. Since 2018, ERA Europe is transitioning to ERA Global and therefore Julian now represents the Global Multi-Channel Home Shopping Industry.

Prior to ERA Europe he worked at the German live shopping channel HSE24 where he was Head of Country Management Austria & Switzerland and Vice-President of Media Law, Media Politics and Distribution (MMD), in charge of the multi-channel distribution of Home Shopping Europe’s TV channels. Prior to working in the teleshopping industry, he practiced at a Munich law firm and worked for the Deutsche Bank HQ.

In the past he has presided as Chairman of the Working Committee for Independent Special Interest and Teleshopping Channels within the German TV Association "VPRT" and at ERA Europe he was Chairman of ERA Europe´s Government Affairs Committee and Chairman of ERA Europe’s Board of Directors. He is a member of the Advisory Committee of the European Audiovisual Observatory - Council of Europe and of the multi-channel working committee of the Bavarian chamber of commerce.
Julian is also the owner of a law firm in the south of Munich, specializing in media and telecommunication law.

Dieter Schneider

Dieter Schneider is Chairman of the Advisory Board and Shareholder of MediaShop. From 2006 - 2012, he was CEO of MediaShop Holding GmbH in which role he held overall responsibility for the management, strategic and financial matters of the company. In 2012 he changed to a new role as strategic advisor.

in 1993, after completion of his studies at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, Dieter started his career as CPA and certified tax advisor with a medium-sized consulting firm where he is still CEO and partner.

Kanaway Yusingco

Kanaway Yusingco is the Founder and Managing Partner of Uniquely Wired, providing Tech Startups and Blockchain ICOs with talent and full stack marketing services. In the marketing division, she supports clients to identify what makes them unique and enables their success by defining their unique service and product proposition and helps them take this to market. Kanaway has experience in a diverse range of industries including Retail, Mobile, Connectivity, Banking, Insurance, and Finance, and was instrumental in one of UKs biggest retail merger in the retail connectivity space in 2016. She brings a human side to Blockchain, working with a number of Blockchain business and ICOs to develop their story in how they solve today's problems.

Jonathan Broughton

Jonathan Broughton is lead analyst at Media Business Insight (MBI) and is heading the company’s newly developed Insights service; part of MBI’s Broadcast Intelligence suite.

As lead analyst, Jonathan is responsible for a variety of in-depth reports and runs a dedicated team of analysts, building on Broadcast publisher MBI’s wider data.

Dieter Brockmeyer

Dieter Brockmeyer is a senior media industry and innovation expert. He is an
international speaker and host, consults to the industry and is initiator
and chairman of eur§reg and of Multi-Channel Money Streams Congress (MCMS),
industry events bringing together media regulators and TV executives from
across Europe to talk about future regulatory framework and new business
models.

Dieter provides regular columns for DIPLOMATIC WORLD and THE
DIPLOMATIC SOCIETY. He has also authored books on the industry and written numerous
articles in printed magazines. From 2014 - 2018 he initiated and headed
three seasons of Global Media Innovator (GMI). He is co-founder of the newly
forming Diplomatic World Institute in Brussels.

Manuj Goyal

Gemporia makes affordable genuine jewellery accessible to women via National Television, Web and Mobile App. Adding Lifestyle & Home products to the mix, Gemporia is now Indology in India.

Under his direction, Pinkcity Jewel House P. Ltd. produces high-quality jewellery for major brands and large format retailers in the US and Europe. Manuj being past president of TiE Rajasthan and co-founder Rajasthan Angels Investment Network, actively mentors startups.

Katja Resnik

Katja Resnik is Data Protection Officer at Studio Moderna where she has been advising and managing on all matters of data protection and privacy issues for the group since 2017. She holds a law degree with the Univerza vi Mariboru. Before her current position, she worked for Studio Moderna as Product Manager and Legal Advisor among other roles.

Maurits Bruggink

In April 2015, Maurits Bruggink was appointed Secretary General of EMOTA, the European Multi-channel and Online Trade Association. His main task is representing the interests of the sector to policymakers at European level and in Member States.

Maurits has been involved in international advocacy, government affairs and trade association management for over 25 years in different positions. Maurits started as lawyer at the European Union Office of Arthur Andersen & C°, followed by a long spell as Managing Director at Brussels’s based lobby firm Grayling.

Maurits has great experience in managing European and international trade associations. He has been secretary general of several trade associations, covering sectors as diverse as direct selling, spirit drinks, toys, metals, gambling and sports.

Maurits holds a Master in International Trade Law from the University of Leiden, Holland and is fluent in English, French, German, Dutch and Spanish.
